Sizing

The size label on vintage clothing is often not reflective of standard modern day sizing and often comes up a lot smaller than modern sizes.

To help you buy with confidence, we have taken each item's measurements for you and given an approximate modern day UK size or size range to help you decide whether the item will fit you. Our measurements are taken when the garment is laid flat and all measurements are in inches.

Before buying, we recommend having your measurements to hand to help you when you purchase. We often find measuring a similar item of clothing you own and comparing it to our size measurements is a good guideline to whether an item will fit.
